IPC Thank you party

               

 

TIU students joined "IPC thank you party".There were 8 IPC students from Willamette University this year.
 IPC students 2person had 1 group. They had planned various events since February so TIU students like IPC students. However it the IPC roles were finished, so TUI students want to say thank you. So this party was opened. It was very fun that person joined various games. For example, they played True or false game and message game. There was a lot of food and drink at the party. Students were eating food when they playing games. Students really appreciated the IPC leaders. Willamette University Bistro

     Salem has Willamette University is in Salem. The Bistro is a cafe there. WU students like this cafe because there it is diffarent there from other place. WU has Goudy but there isn't a cafe. There is a student's dining hall so cafe is Bistro only. There are a lot of sofas so students often sit down it. They sell food like. For example, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Foods is pizza, cookie, bread. These are very delicious. The shop assistants are students. They are kind smil everyday.

Salem

      There is a lot of nature in Salem because it is huge place. There are some alley streets but Salem has a lot of buildings such as Willamette University, The Diet Building, shops. Salem has a train and bus.  People can use these vehicles. The train can go to Portland.
     Salem has a lot of parks so people can play. This is good place. Another people can enjoy a landscape.

Black tie

This event was very fun because there was a lot of people.

At first, the students ate dinner which was very delicious. People ate fish or meat and cake. It was near Willamette University, so everyone could walk to this place. There was a lot of music. So everyone was dancing. This music made everyone happy. DJ was very cool because this music made in DJ. People took a lot of picture because everyone put on dress. They were so cool. This day was great day.

SAKURAMATSURI

SAKURAMATSURI is very fun because this had Japanese culture. SAKURAMATSURi is Japanese festival. For example, taiko ,soranbusi ,sanshin, karaoke.

This is Japanese culture. People could buy a lot of Japanese food. They could eat takoyaki and mochi. They served Japanese food there.
 Takoyaki's has all kinds of ingredients in it. For example, wheat flour, octoupus and green onion.

  This is a good idea because Japanese food and American food are different.  Japanese people want to widen Japanese culture. Japanese culture isn’t the same  as American culture so people think students will find it very interesting.


 

willamette university pow wow

People went to the Pow Wow. Native American people put on clothing. This clothing name is regalia. To attract people of various lndians tribes there are especially social gatherings of Native American people.

 American people were dancing. I listened this dance that had various meanings. I saw various dances. I was interested in white skin people and black skin people's danceing. And I saw a contest. This contest had old people and children . I was surprised.

              There are a lot of shops with stone, accessories, and chothes. Stones have various kinds. Accessories were a ring bracelet, and piered earrings. They sold other ornaments.
     There sold hair arnament of flower shape. This is hand made by willamette students. There was a food shop. Tacos and rice were sold there. However people had to buy the foods. People could know various tradition.
